p) Setting time & date manually
If no DCF reception is possible where you have installed the device, you can set the time and date
manually.
• First of all switch off the DCF reception, see chapter 11. i).
• If a time zone is shown ("ZONE" bottom left next to time), change to the normal time display (eg.
12:15:05) by briefly pressing the "MODE" button several times.
• Press the "MODE" button (approx. 2 seconds) until the abbreviation of the language appears on
the bottom right on the display.
• You can choose the desired language with the "+" and "-" button on the right hand side of the base
station.
DE = German
FR = French
IT = Italian
SP = Spanish
EN = English
• Briefly press the "MODE" button several times until the year flashes (eg "2005 Yr").
• You can set the year with the "+" and "-" button on the right hand side of the base station.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button, the month flashes.
• Set the month with the "+" and "-" buttons.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button, the day flashes.
• Set the day with the "+" and "-" buttons.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button, the display format for day/month flashes.
• Select the display format (day/month or month/day) with the "+" and "-" buttons.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button, the 12/24 hour display flashes.
• Select the desired display with the "+" and "-" button.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button, the hours flash.
• Set the hours with the "+" and "-" buttons.
• Briefly press the "MODE" button, the minutes flash.
• Set the minutes with the "+" and "-" buttons.
• Pressing the "MODE" button again briefly completes the setting.
