u) Background illumination

The background lighting can be automatically activated for about 15 seconds by touching the touchscreen.

Frequent activation of the background illumination by touching the display does however lead to a stark
reduction in the battery life.
We recommend that you use the power plug supplied to power the weather station, if you require the
background illumination.
Touch the small button "LIGHT" (you find it in the middle in the area for the wind direction display, on the right edge),
the following appears in the lower text field:
BACKLIGHT
ENABLED
If the "LIGHT" button is pressed again, you switch back and forward between "BACKLIGHT ENABLED" (activated)
and "BACKLIGHT DISABLED" (deactivated).
"ENABLED": Background illumination is switched on for about 15 seconds when the screen is touched
"DISABLED": Background illumination is switched off
v) Confirmation tone
A confirmation tone can be emitted when the display is touched.
Touch the small button "BUZZER" (you find it in the middle in the area for the wind direction display, on the right edge),
one of the following appears in the lower text field:
Buzzer
ENABLED
If the "BUZZER" button is pressed again, you switch back and forward between "Buzzer ENABLED" (activated) and
"Buzzer DISABLED" (deactivated).
"ENABLED": A short confirmation tone will be emitted when display is touched
"DISABLED": Confirmation tone is switched off

w) Alarm display

Touch the small button "ALARM" (you find it in the middle in the area for the wind direction display, on the right edge)
to see all the currently activated alarm functions (apart from the wake-up time).
Operation is carried out as usual via touch buttons in the lower text display (e.g. "NEXT" for next alarm, "EXIT" to
leave the menu etc).
