19. Maintenance and Cleaning

Servicing or repair may only be carried out by a specialist/specialist workshop. There are no components on the inside
of the product that need maintenance by you, this is why you should never open it (apart from the described approach
to insert or change the batteries, in these instructions).
To clean the exterior of the weather station, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.

Don't press too hard on the display, this may cause scratch marks or lead to incorrect functioning of the
display.
Touching the touchscreen display while cleaning may lead to unwanted operation of the device.
Dust on the weather station can be easily removed with the help of a long-haired, soft and clean brush and a vacuum
cleaner.
Use a soft cloth slightly dampened with luke-warm water to remove dirt from the outdoor sensors.
Never use aggressive cleansing agents or other chemical solvents since this may damage the surface
of the housing or even impair operation.
Occasionally check the rain sensor capture container. Leave or dirt particles can block the opening in the bottom of
the container.
