PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Figure 1 illustrates available product models. Rescue devices assist with the transport of users from a hazardous environment to
a defined safe area. This product may be used in Rescue applications.
Figure 2 identifies key components of the available product models. The product body is comprised of the Housing Assembly
(A) and a series of pulleys that route the Lifeline (B). The Main Pulley (C) rests within the housing assembly, while the Lower
Pulley (D) hangs below for use with a connector. Some product models also include a Secondary Pulley (E) within the housing
assembly, which further increases the lifeline ratio. The lifeline is routed through each of these pulleys, with the thimble end
secured via a connector to either the housing assembly or the lower pulley assembly. The opposite end of the lifeline holds
the Brake Handle (F), which controls descent speed and prevents the lifeline from flowing through the device when locked.
The Anchoring Connector (G) secures the product to an anchorage connection point. The Lifeline Connector (H) secures to an
attachment element on the user's harness.
Figure 1 also identifies the different styles of product model that are available. Product models are identified by the lifeline ratio
of their design. The higher the lifeline ratio, the less effort is required to pull the same amount of lifeline through the device.
