Children are not able to assess the dangers in-
volved in handling electrical units. Therefore, take
particular care in the presence of children.
• The assembly of the product corresponds to protec-
tion class 1. Only a proper mains socket with a pro-
tective earth (230V~/50Hz) from the public power
supply may be used as a power source.
• In commercial and industrial facilities, the accident
prevention regulations of the German employers'
liability insurance association for electrical plants
and operating equipment must be observed.
• In schools, training institutions, hobby and self-help
workshops, the operation of the product is to be su-
pervised by trained personnel.

Exposure to moisture or high humidity. Extreme
cold or heat. Dust or flammable gases, fumes or
solvents. Heavy vibrations.
Strong magnetic fields, such as near machines or
speakers.
Commissioning of the residual current circuit
breaker:
• The residual current circuit breaker is equipped with
a test button.
The function should be checked before each oper-
ation and at regular intervals (at least 1x a week).
• If the residual current circuit breaker does not
switch off properly during this test, it does not pro-
vide protection for people! The unit must then be
replaced immediately!
• Damage caused by non-compliance with this op-
erating manual will void the warranty. We do not
accept liability for consequential damage.
• Check the product for damage before each use!
If you identify any damage, the product must not be
connected to the mains voltage!
• After pressing the orange reset button, the device is
ready for operation. Before operating, please check
the release using the red "Test" button.
• Plug the residual current circuit breaker into the
socket.
• Press the orange reset button.
• A red symbol appears in the window to indicate that
it is ready for operation.
• Press the red "Test" button. In this case, a fault cur-
rent is simulated.
• When functioning properly, the circuit breaker dis-
connects the consumer from the mains. This is in-
dicated in the window by the red symbol going out.
• Protection for humans and animals can only be
guaranteed if the system is functioning properly.
• The reset button must be pressed again to operate.
• The consumer can now be plugged in.
