9.9 Perform a flush

1. Hold the portafilter with one hand.
2. Position the portafilter under the brew
group so that the handle of the portafilter
is at an angle of approx. 45° to the left.
3. Push the portafilter upwards into the
holder of the brew group until the latches
on the portafilter engage in the recesses
on the brew group.
4. Carefully turn the portafilter handle to the
right until you feel some resistance.
The portafilter is now installed in the brew
9
group.
Drawing icon
This icon appears when the brew lever is moved into
the drawing position.
"Flush" icon
Indicates that a flush should be performed.
"Ready Go" icon
Indicates that the lines have been flushed.
