9.2.3 Machine in mains water mode
NOTICE
Damage due to incorrect water pressure
The machine may become damaged if the wrong water pressure is used.
• There must be water pressure in the line for operating the machine.
• The water pressure in the line may not exceed 2 bar.
1. Switch on the machine using the on/off button.
The LED ring lights up.

2. If the "Flush" icon appears on the display, perform a flush (see Chapter
9.9, „Perform a flush").
The machine heats up. If the setting "Fast Heating" is activated (see
9
Chapter 10.4.8, „Enable Fast Heating"), the heat-up time is approx.
12-13 minutes. The machine has finished heating up when the set
temperature (see Chapter 10.3.1, „Brew Temperature") appears on the
display.
9.3 Opening and closing the shut-off valve
In machines used with a mains water connection and for which no automatic
switch-on and switch-off times are programmed:
• Open the shut-off valve of the water supply line before operation to
supply the machine with water.
• After operation, close the shut-off valve to prevent potential leakage of
water.
9.4 Shortcut functions
All machine functions are set via the menu. The following functions can also
be set via shortcuts without having to call up the menu.
9.4.1 Switching on ECO mode
1. Press and hold the left navigation button for 3 seconds during
operation.
The machine activates ECO mode.

9.4.2 Activating or deactivating pre-infusion
1. Press and hold the right-hand navigation button for 3 seconds during
operation.
Depending on the setting, pre-infusion is then activated or deactivated.
