9.9.1 Flush after heating up
The machine heats up after being switched on. If the function "Enable Fast
Heating" is activated, the machine quickly heats up to 120°C in order to heat
up the brew group faster. When this temperature has been reached, the
"Flush" icon appears on the display. This icon indicates that a flush needs to
be performed within 60 seconds in order to lower the boiler temperature to
the normal set temperature:
1. Place an empty receptacle under the brew group.
2. Move the brew lever into the drawing position (see Chapter 5.2.3,
„Operating levers").
The duration in seconds is shown on the display.

3. If the "Ready Go" icon appears after 20 seconds, move the brew lever
into the starting position.
The machine is ready to prepare espressos.

If the flush has not been performed within 60 seconds, the machine stops
heating up and reduces the brew temperature. The "Flush" icon and the
current brew temperature appear alternately on the display.
