Built-in magnetic stirrer and external rod stirrer
The TW 7200 has two built-in magnetic stirrers and the possibility of stirring directly in the solution from above by
means of a connected rod stirrer (Fig. 4). In conjunction with the TitriSoft PC software, these stirrers can be
switched on and off via the interfaces.
Fig. 4
When the sample tray is turned and the head is raised, the magnetic stirrers and, if used, the rod stirrer are
switched off.
When the titration is started, the stirrer starts at the speed set in the method. When setting the stirring time, the
time should not be less than 10 seconds.
When setting the stirring speed, make sure that the setting knob is set to full stirring speed, otherwise the
maximum possible stirring speed is limited according to the level set on the setting knob. Fine adjustment of the
desired stirring speed is then possible using the rotary knob on the backside of the TW 7200.
The speed of the magnetic stirrer can be preset and read out in revolutions/minute.
