Intended Use
The titration sample changer TW 7200 allows serial titrations with automatic sample change. It can be used for
many samples in conjunction with SI Analytics
The examples of possible use include:
Acid and base determination in aqueous solutions such as p and m value,
Acid and base determination in non-aqueous solutions,
Acid numbers in oils
Titration of strong and weak acids and bases
Redox titrations such as iodometry, manganometry, chromatometry, and COD determinations,
other mV titrations, e.g. chloride
All these titrations are performed in an open beaker or comparable vessel, which is placed in the sample tray.
With a titration head specially designed for this purpose, COD titrations can be carried out directly in the
standardized reaction vessels according to DIN 38 409, Part 41.
The TW 7200 can be controlled externally via various interfaces (RS, USB or LAN) from a PC or a titrator.
The TW 7200 has an easily replaceable round sample tray. There are two types of sample trays:
In one version, all samples are only in one outer circle on the sample tray. In the other version, the sample tray
has two circles, in each of which samples can be placed. By means of a horizontally movable axis, it is possible
to operate the inner circle of the two-row sample tray. The TW 7200 has 2 stirrers, one each at the measuring
position of the outer and inner circuit.
There are 11 different sample trays, each with a different number of positions, for different sample vessels.
Each position is numbered and can be targeted by the control software.
The TW 7200 is not intended for use with potentially biohazardous substances.
Do not use the device in hazardous locations!
General:
The safety guidelines that are applicable to the handling of chemicals have to be observed under all
circumstances. This applies in particular to inflammable and/or etching liquids.
