Malfunction
LED temperature above 80°C
(Message disappears when temperature <75°C again)
LED temperature above 90°C
(Message disappears when temperature <80°C again)
LED temperature above 100°C and lamp switched off by the
hardware
(Message disappears when temperature <75°C again)
The device does not start up correctly as the fan doesn't work.
LED is switched off due to excess current. The user can attempt
to switch the LED on again manually.
If the temperature in the device increases above 80°C, the
message appears, if the temperature goes above 90°C, the device
is switched off. If the temperature drops below 75°C, the message
is deleted.
The software update could not be carried out for certain reasons.
The camera head is not compatible, the message is shown when
changing the camera.

Error messages
Touchscreen warning
Overheating of lamp.
Increased lamp temperature.

The lamp will be switched off in a few minutes.
Lamp overheated.
Wait a few minutes to allow the device to cool down.
The system is switched off due to a fan malfunction – please contact the
KARL STORZ Service for further assistance.
The light source was deactivated for safety reasons.
Overheating of device. The device will be switched off in a few minutes. Please consult
KARL STORZ Service.
Upgrade failed. Repeat the procedure after restarting. If the problem persists, please
contact a representative or the Service Center.
