Funktionsprüfung
• Funktionskontrolle nach Gebrauchsanweisung
durchführen (siehe Abschnitt 6.3.11).
• Die sicherheitstechnische Kontrolle ist
in das Gerätebuch einzutragen und die
Kontrollergebnisse sind zu dokumentieren.
• Ist das Gerät nicht funktions­ und/oder
betriebssicher, muss es instandgesetzt werden.

WARNUNG: Werden bei der Sicherheits-
überprüfung/Wiederholungsprüfung
Mängel festgestellt, durch die Patienten,
Personal oder Dritte gefährdet werden
können, darf das Gerät so lange nicht
betrieben werden, bis diese Mängel
durch fachgerechten technischen Service
behoben sind.
8. 3 Instandsetzung
Die Instandsetzung von defekten Geräten darf nur
durch von KARL STORZ autorisierte Personen und
unter Verwendung von KARL STORZ Originalteilen
erfolgen.
8. 4 Entsorgung
Dieses Gerät ist entsprechend der europäischen
Richtlinie über Elektro­ und Elektronik­Altgeräte
(waste electrical and electronic equipment –
WEEE) gekennzeichnet.
Nach Ablauf der Lebensdauer ist das Gerät als
Elektronikschrott zu entsorgen. Hierzu erfragen
Sie bitte die für Sie zuständige Sammelstelle bei
KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG, einer KARL STORZ
Niederlassung oder Ihrem Fachhändler.
Im Geltungsbereich der Richtlinie ist KARL STORZ
SE & Co. KG für die ordnungsgemäße Entsorgung
des Gerätes verantwortlich.
Vermeidung von Umweltverschmutzung durch
elektronische Geräte (China RoHS).

Service and repair
Functional test
• A functional check must be carried out in
accordance with the instruction manual (see
chapter 6.3.11).
• The safety check must be entered in the unit
log­book and the results of the check must be
documented.
• If the device does not function reliably and/or
safely, it must be repaired.

WARNING: If any defects or shortcomings
which could endanger patients, personnel
or others are ascertained during these
safety checks/repeat inspections, the
device must not be operated until such
time as these defects or shortcomings
have been eliminated by qualified technical
servicing.
8. 3 Servicing and repair
Defective items of equipment must be serviced
and repaired exclusively by persons authorized by
KARL STORZ; all repair work must employ original
KARL STORZ parts only.
8. 4 Disposal
This device has been marked in accordance with
the European Directive on waste electrical and
electronic equipment (WEEE).
At the end of its useful operating life, dispose
of the device as electronic scrap. Please ask
KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG, a KARL STORZ
subsidiary, or your authorized dealer about the
collection point in your area.
Within the scope of application of this Directive,
KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG is responsible for the
proper disposal of this device.
Control of pollution caused by electronic
information products (China RoHS).
NOTE: Please observe the warnings and

notes on data security in chapter 7.4 and
7.5 before disposing of the device!

Prueba de funcionamiento
• Lleve a cabo un control de funcionamiento
según el Manual de instrucciones (véase la
sección 6.3.11).
• Los controles técnicos de seguridad han
de registrarse en el libro del aparato y los
resultados del control han de documentarse.
• Si el aparato no está en condiciones de
funcionar y/o su servicio no es seguro, hay que
repararlo.

CUIDADO: En caso de constatarse
deficiencias durante las verificaciones
de seguridad/verificaciones periódicas,
que puedan suponer peligro para los
pacientes, el personal médico o terceros,
no se puede utilizar el aparato hasta que
estas deficiencias hayan sido subsanadas
por el personal de servicio técnico
cualificado.
8. 3 Reparaciones
La reparación de aparatos defectuosos ha de ser
efectuada exclusivamente por personal autorizado
por KARL STORZ y utilizando piezas de repuesto
originales de KARL STORZ.
8. 4 Gestión de desechos
Este equipo está identificado conforme a la
directiva europea sobre residuos de aparatos
eléctricos y electrónicos (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment – WEEE).
Después de concluida su vida útil, deseche el
aparato como residuo electrónico. Para ello,
consulte a KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG, a una
sociedad distribuidora de KARL STORZ o a su
comercio especializado para averiguar el centro
de recogida que le corresponde.
En el área de validez de la directiva,
KARL STORZ SE & Co. KG es responsable de la
correcta gestión residual del aparato.
Certificación de control de la contaminación
ambiental debida a aparatos electrónicos (directiva
RoHS china).
NOTA: Antes de desechar el aparato, tenga
