Assembly
➜ Turn reflux valve clockwise until the
seal ring is clearly visible and white
plug blocks the output to the receiving
flask.
✓ The valve is closed, and the sample is
guided back to the evaporating flask.
➜ Turn reflux valve anticlockwise until
the seal ring is clearly visible and
white plug unblocks the output to the
receiving flask.
✓ The valve is open, and the sample is
guided into the receiving flask.
The glassware set is no longer vacuum-tight if the reflux valve is
opened too far. Open the valve only so far that the white seal ring
underneath the knurled screw remains visible about 0.5 cm wide.

Assembly parts:
▪ Support rod
▪ Cross clamp wit condenser clamp
A hole is located on the left side of the
device for receiving the support rod.
✓ First mount the condenser and then
slide the condenser clamp over the
condenser.
➜ Insert the support rod with the
flattened side downward into the hole.
➜ Secure the support rod with the
knurled screw.
