Assembly
➜ Slide the cross clamp over the support
rod.
➜ Use the knurled screw to secure the
cross clamp on the support rod.
➜ Secure the condenser clamp with the
knurled screw around the condenser.
Support system for vertical condenser. Glassware set G5
Assembly parts:
▪ Support rod
▪ Cross clamp with tension band
➜ Mount the support system analog to
the support for G3, G3 XL and G6.
➜ Use the tension band to secure the
condenser.
Evaporating flask: Angle and immersion depth
Flask angle
The evaporating flask angle can be adjusted by turning the drive.
✓ The rotation is switched off.
✓ The evaporating flask is mounted (see chapter "Operation", section "Mounting the
evaporating flask").
➜ Slide the locking mechanism on lift
column to the right and hold it against
the spring force.
➜ Pivot the condenser carefully until the
connected evaporating flask has the
correct angle. Ensure that the flask
can rotate freely and does not touch
anything.
➜ Release the locking mechanism.
➜ If necessary, pivot the condenser
slightly until it locks in place.
