Start-Up
Connecting the heating bath
Warning:
Risk of crushing! Risk of burns!
If the device is switched on, the heating or rotation can be started
unintentionally. This may injure and burn your hands.
Connect the heating bath to the device base only when the, device is
switched off.
The heating bath socket is located on the
right rear side of the heating bath.
✓ The device is switched off.
✓ The heating bath is locked in place on
the baseplate.
➜ Insert the 7-pin heating bath
connector with the recess pointing
upward into the heating bath socket.
➜ Tighten the knurled collar nut
clockwise to the right.
Emptying the heating bath
Warning:
Risk of scalding! Risk of slipping!
When emptying the heating bath, you may burn yourself or slip on
spilled fluid.
Before emptying heating bath:
▪ Please wear protective clothes.
▪ Switch the device OFF.
▪ Wait until the heating bath fluid has cooled down to <50°C.
▪ Disconnect base device and heating bath.
▪ Remove evaporating flask.
▪ Lift the heating bath only by the insulated handle.
