Operation
✓ The base device is switched on.
✓ The evaporating flask is immersed in
the heating bath.
➜ Adjust the desired rotation speed via
the rotation knob.
➜ Press the rotation knob to start the
rotation.
➜ Briefly press the rotation knob to end
the rotation.
Adjusting the heating bath temperature

Adjustable temperature range:
The temperature range can be adjusted between 20 °C and 210 °C.

Permissible temperature range when using water: 20 °C - 100 °C
▪
Permissible temperature range when using oil: 20 °C - 210 °C
Starting at a desired bath temperature of 75 °C, we recommend using
polyethylene glycol or silicon oil as the heating fluid (also see chapter
"Accessories and Spare parts, Accessories").
Danger!
Mortal danger! Risk of explosion!
Heating bath fluid oil with a flash point < 285 °C could catch fire at
high heating bath temperatures and lead to uncontrolled thermal
reactions up to an explosion.
➜ Use only oil with a flash point > 285 °C.
Warning:
Risk of scalding!
If you operate your device without a safety hood, severe scalding may
occur at high bath temperatures.
Be sure to wear protective clothing (safety goggles, protective clothing,
protective gloves) when you are near the device while a process is
running.
Caution:
Possible device damage
The heating responds very fast. If the heating bath is empty and
heating is switched on, the heating bath may turn dark.
Only switch heating on when the heating bath is sufficiently filled.
