Assembling the condenser
Warning:
Risk of glass breakage!
If a glass component is damaged, glass may break, and you may be
seriously injured.
Only work with flawless glass. Inspect the glass regularly for damage.
The coated glassware sets from Heidolph Instruments reduce the
risk of injury in the event of glass breakage. However, they are only
suitable for a temperature range up to max. 80 °C.
PTFE seal
➜ Slide the PTFE seal with the mark
"Motor Side" first forward onto the
vapor tube.
✓ The PTFE seal has been pushed to the
stop.
Condenser:
Glassware set G1, G3 and G3 XL
➜ Slide the coupling for the condenser
over the cooler flange.
➜ Slide the tension spring over the cooler
flange.
➜ Hand-tighten the cooler with the
coupling on the drive.
✓ The cooler is mounted on the drive.
