Cause
Grooved ball bearing in the
pulley box is damaged
Rollers are damaged
Timing belt is worn
Normal operating noises from
the polyurethane timing belt
Insufficient lubrication
Timing belt is overloaded, e.g.
due to a blockage
Perform the following steps once maintenance and troubleshooting
are complete:
1.
Check that all screw connections loosened previously are
secure.
2.
Ensure that all tools, materials and other equipment used
have been removed from the work area.
3.
Clean the work area and remove any escaped substances
such as liquids, processing material or similar products.

Remedy
Replace the grooved ball
bearing.
Replace rollers.
Replace the timing belt.
Treat timing belt with lubri-
cating spray.
