6.2.2 Setting the Alarm Limits

• Press the "Alarm Param" key.
The "Alarm TEMP" input menu appears.

Pos. Meaning
1 After pressing the "Delay" key the menu
appears for entering the delay time for the
"Highlimit" alarm triggering temperature in
seconds.
2 Current actual value of the temperature
3 After pressing the "Delay" key the menu
appears for entering the delay time for the
"Lowlimit" alarm triggering temperature in
seconds.
4 Optical display of the alarm status
• Bell appears crossed out
− Alarm message for monitoring the alarm
limits is deactivated
• Bell appears not crossed out
− Alarm message for monitoring of the alarm
limits is activated
5 Switch for activation (enabled) or
deactivation (disabled) of the alarm limit
monitoring
6 After pressing the "Lowlimit" key the menu
for entering the lower temperature limit in
°C appears.
7 After pressing the "Highlimit" key the menu
for the input of the upper temperature limit
in °C appears.

After entering the alarm limits activate the alarm by
pressing the "Alarm" key (Fig. 29, Pos. 5).
Display shows "Alarm enabled".
In addition the alarm limits are indicated by red
triangles (Fig. 30, Pos. 1 and 2) in the bar graph.

1 Optical identifier (red triangle) of the upper
temperature limit
2 Optical identifier (red triangle) of the lower
temperature limit
3 Optical display of the alarm status
− Monitoring of the alarm limits activated.

Leave the "Alarm TEMP" menu by pressing the "red
cross". This returns you to the "Controller Temp" menu
(Fig. 27).

6.2.3 Select "Controller Operating Mode".

• Press the "off" key.
The "Controller Mode" input menu appears.

• Select the desired operating mode for the controller by
pressing the "auto" or "manual" key.
• Leave the subsequent controller menu by pressing the
"ok" key.
•
In order to display all process parameters return to the
"Main" menu with the "Main" key in the footer.
