Confirming and/or deleting Alarms

The operator has the following options for reacting to
alarm messages:
•
Confirm the alarm in the superimposed window with
"Acknowledge". The alarm message in the header and
red highlighting of the alarm symbol are deleted. The
alarm is listed as a "confirmed" alarm ("ACK") in the
list of alarms.
• Close the superimposed window without confirming
with [ X ]. The alarm message remains in the header
and red highlighting of the alarm symbol is retained.
The alarm is listed as an "unconfirmed" alarm
("UNACK") in the list of alarms.
• Call up the alarm list with the main function key
„[ ]". Unconfirmed alarms can be confirmed there
with "ACK". Pressing "RST" ("Reset") deletes the
message from the alarm list.
• How to react to alarms and other messages depends
on their type and cause. The following tables give an

Confirm alarm with 'ACK' (acknowledge)

Replace defective fuse,
switch on automatic circuit breaker or device,
inform the service department if it triggers
again
Inform the service department
Check Pt-1000 and connection, replace sensor
if necessary
Remedy
Switch on device with the designated "name"
again (via EMERGENCY STOP key or main
switch)
Check if cable is trapped on peripheral devices
and check that it functions.
