9.7 Taking off the blade sharpener
• Turn the adjusting knob of the knife sharpener to positio „0".
• Loosen the knurled screw on the sharpener and carefully lift it upwards.
• Fully close the thickness plate.
• Clean the machine and the blade from grinding dust.

Changing the knife

Warning!
The blade is sharp ! It can cause serious injury even when it is not moving. The
blade may only be changed by a service engineer. Put on safety gloves.
Important!
The blade must be replaced, if the distance between blade edge and blade guard
ring exceeds 6 mm.
