7.1.1 Conventional type of cleaning
For products or parts with
CERA3-surfaces we recommend cleaning according to chapter 7.1. In comparison the conventional
cleaning procedure is indicated in the following. The cleaning plan is the basis for cleaning.
IMPORTANT!
Please observe the sequence given for cleaning. Do not use any scouring agents to clean the
machine. These damage the surfaces and impair the hygiene. Only use the cleaning and hygiene
agents which we authorised, in the indicated dilution. Do not use any aggressive cleaning and
hygiene agents. Do not use high-pressure cleaners. In case of non-observation of the above points
our warranty will become ineffective. For application of hand spray devices suitable measures have
to be taken, in order that there is no impact on the environment. The product data sheets, which
are delivered with the cleaning and disinfection agents, must be taken into account. Nonobservance
can result in machine damages. In case of use of cleaning and disinfection agents, which are not
authorized by Graef, our warranty will become ineffective. Removable parts must not be cleaned in
the dishwasher.
Installation of removed machine parts:
After cleaning reassemble the machine again in the reverse order of removal.
ATTENTION!
After cleaning neutralize aggressive cleaning and hygiene agents with enough clear
water, because otherwise corrosion can originate, especially on the blade screw
connection.

7.1.2 Cleaning agent
1. P3 topax (phosphate acid)
Application: 3% solution !!!Important!!! Observe mixture!
e.g. 20 Liter= 300 ml P3 topax 56 (acc. to manufacturers indications at 45 C°)
RAN - degreaser with germ eliminating additives
Application: 25 ml in 20 Liter
Exposure time: approx. 20 minutes / Rinsing with clear water at approx. 40°
1. P3 alcodes disinfectant
Application: Spray undiluted onto surfaces and wipe with a wet cloth
Exposure time: none
In case of use of cleaning agents, which we did not authorized, we disclaim any and all
warranty. Never clean removable parts in the dishwasher! Corresponding measures have to
be taken in order that the environment is not impaired!
