Lightly securing the torch neck holder

Remove the gas nozzle

Place the torch neck in the torch neck

Secure the torch neck using two union

Position the torch neck holder with

Align the torch neck holder with torch

neck in line with the testing unit at a mi-
nimum distance of 15 mm (0.59 inch)
from the contact tips
Lightly secure the torch neck holder

using a clamp
Check the position of the contact tips

by pressing on the testing unit dowel

The test probes must fit perfectly into
the wire outlet openings on the contact
tips.
If the test probes do not fit perfectly into
the wire outlet openings of the contact
tips, the Twin complete system with
mounting block must be readjusted
Secure the mounting block by tigh-

tening the rest of the clamps in a diago-
nal pattern
Check the position of the contact tips

by pressing on the testing unit dowel
pin
- The torch neck is okay if the test
probes fit perfectly into the wire
outlet openings on the contact
tips.
- In the case of dimension devia-
tions, please send the torch neck
to Fronius for repairs.
If applicable, test all other torch necks
