Options Description
Disabled Disable ICH6M USB host controllers.
2 USB Ports Enable UHCI host controller 0.
4 USB Ports Enable UHCI host controller 0 + 1.
6 USB Ports Enable UHCI host controller 0 + 1 + 2.
Enabled Enable the ICH6M USB 2.0 (EHCI) host
Disabled controller.
Disabled Legacy USB Support refers to the USB
Enabled keyboard, USB mouse and USB mass
Auto storage device support.
If this option is Disabled , any attached USB
device will not become available until a USB
compatible operating system is booted.
However, legacy support for USB keyboard
will be present during POST.
When this option is Enabled , those USB
devices can control the system even when
there is no USB driver loaded.
AUTO disables legacy support if no USB
devices are connected.
Disabled Enable/Disable USB keyboard legacy
Enabled support.
NOTE: This option has to be used with
caution. If the system is equipped with USB
keyboard only then the user cannot enter
setup to enable the option back.
Disabled Enable/Disable USB mouse legacy support.
