Front and rear disc brake

The brake disc and pad wear is automat-
ically compensated, therefore it has no
effect on the functioning of the front and
rear brakes. For this reason it is not nec-
essary to adjust the brakes. An exces-
sively elastic brake lever stroke may
indicate the presence of air in the braking
circuit or a failure in the braking system.
In this case, mainly due to the importance

of brakes to guarantee safe riding condi-
tions, the vehicle should be taken to an
Authorised Service Centre or Dealer.
CAUTION
BRAKING SHOULD BEGIN AFTER
ABOUT 1/3 OF THE BRAKE LEVER
STROKE.
CAUTION
HAVE THE BRAKE PADS CHECKED
BY THE DEALER ACCORDING TO
THE CHECKS SPECIFIED IN THE
SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE TABLE.

Travão a disco dianteiro e
traseiro (03_34)
O desgaste do disco e das pastilhas é
automaticamente compensado, assim,
não tem efeito sobre o funcionamento
dos travões. Por esse motivo, não é ne-
cessário efetuar o ajuste do travão. Se,
ao acionar a alavanca do travão, houver
uma elasticidade excessiva, isso se de-
verá, provavelmente, à presença de ar
no circuito ou ao funcionamento irregular
do próprio travão. Nesse caso, principal-
mente se considerarmos o papel funda-
mental dos travões para a sua segurança
de condução, aconselhamos que leve
seu veículo a uma Concessionária ou a
um Ponto de Assistência Autorizado.
