b) Inserting Batteries in the Outdoor Sensor
• Open the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor by turning out the two screws for the
battery compartment lid and taking it off.
• Select one of the three transmission channels (1, 2 or 3) with the slider (13). Set transmission
channel "1" when using only a single outdoor sensor.

Always set the transmission channel before inserting the batteries. Otherwise,
switching to a different channel will not be recognised.
Set each outdoor sensor to another transmission channel!
• Then insert two type AAA/Micro batteries in the battery compartment in the correct polarity
(observe plus/+ and minus/-). The respective illustration is located in the battery compart-
ment.
The LC display briefly shows all display segments, then the first measured data appear.
• Briefly press the button "C/F" (14) to switch between the temperature unit "°C" (degrees
Celsius and "°F" (degrees Fahrenheit).
• Before reattaching the battery compartment lid and screwing it on again, observe the next
section.

c) Taking Weather Station into Operation

• Connect the low-voltage socket (9) of the weather station to the round plug of the included
plug-in mains adapter.
• Plug the plug-in mains adapter into a mains socket.
• The LC display briefly shows all display segments, then the weather symbols flash in the top
display area (for approx. 1 minute).
Set the current weather condition with the buttons "+/
and better calculation of the weather forecast.
To confirm the setting, briefly press the button "CLOCK".
• The weather station now starts scanning for the present outdoor sensors. This will table
about 3 minutes.

Every outdoor sensor sends a data package with the measured values to the
weather station about every 30 seconds.
Use the button "TX" (15) in the outdoor sensor battery compartment to manually
trigger transmission. This will enable the weather station to find the outdoor sensors
more quickly.
