12. Operation

a) Displaying temperature and air humidity

The indoor temperature and indoor air humidity (sensor integrated in the weather station) is
shown in the bottom area of the display of the weather station ("IN" symbol at the left margin).
One line above it, the outdoor temperature and outdoor air humidity are displayed. Up to three
outdoor sensors can be selected with the "CHANNEL" button. The respective active channel
number is shown on the left, next to the reading display.

If no data is received from one of the outdoor sensors, only dashes (e.g.
"--.-") are displayed for temperature and air humidity instead of a reading.
It is possible that the weather station receives the radio transmission data of your neighbour's
outdoor sensor. This can lead to reception problems of your own outdoor sensor. If this is the
case, change the transmission channel in the outdoor sensor (remove batteries and wait until
display dies down, change transmission channel, insert batteries again).
If the temperature or air humidity exceeds the reading range of the outdoor sensor, the display
of the outdoor sensor shows e.g. "HH" or "HHH"; if it is below the reading range, "LL" or "LLL"
is displayed. In this case, the display of the weather station only shows dashes (e.g. "--.-") for
the outdoor temperature or the outdoor air humidity.
If the indoor temperature or the indoor air humidity is outside the reading range, the weather
station also shows "HH" / "HHH" or "LL" / "LLL" .
Between the lines of the indoor temperature/air humidity and the outdoor temperature/air
humidity, the so-called comfort indicator is shown:

The comfort indicator gives you a quick estimate of the existing ambient
conditions at the place of installation of the weather station (DRY = too dry,
COMFORT = ideal, WET = too wet).
