e) Checking and setting the neutral position of the servo

Before you begin programming your RC system or carry out settings in your model, you must
make sure that the digital trim for the steering and speed function is in the central position (at
0%).
When you change the transmitter settings and activate the programming and set-
ting buttons, this is confirmed by an acoustic signal and by the red control LED
switching on and off (see fig. 1, no. 10).
With the DT1 button (see fig. 1, no. 3) you can set the
central position for the steering servo (CH1). When you
press this button briefly, the display switches from the
operation mode display to the trim display.
Every time you press the button again, the trimming
value will be changed by 1%. By pushing the button in
either direction, you can either increase or reduce the
value. Keep the button pressed for quick setting
If the display is exactly at 0%, you have reached the
exact central position.
If you do not press the DT1 button for five seconds, the
value set before will be saved and the display will re-
turn to the normal operation mode display.
With the DT2 button (see fig. 1, no. 2) the central posi-
tion of the speed servo/speed control (CH2) can be set
according to the same procedure.
Now you should check the trimming of both channels
and set the value to 0%.
