12. Programming

Do not disconnect the code lock from the power supply when programming the device,
as this may damage existing data and settings.
The code lock codes (including the master code, user codes, and superuser code) can be
4 to 8 digits long.
When the "Auto entry" feature is enabled (see section 12. m), all codes must be the
same length (e.g. if the master code is 5 digits, the user codes must also be 5 digits).

The code lock will beep if you attempt to set the same code twice.
The pause between each button press must not exceed 10 seconds, otherwise the code lock
will beep 5 times to indicate an error.
a) Exiting programming mode
• The "MAINS" LED on the top of the code lock should flash slowly to indicate that the lock is
in normal mode.
• Enter the master code (factory default = "0000") and confirm your entry by pressing the
button.
For security reasons, the master code must be changed when you set up the lock (see
section 12. c) for details).
If you forget the master code, follow the instructions in section 11 to enable program-
ming mode. You can then configure a new master code (see section 12. d) for details).
If the master code is correct, the code lock will beep twice and enter programming mode. The
"MAINS" LED on the top of the lock will stay constant.
• Y ou can now configure the desired settings (refer to the instructions on the following pages
for details).
• Press the button to exit programming mode.
The code lock will beep twice to indicate that it is in normal mode. The "MAINS" LED on the
top of the code lock will start to flash slowly.
