i) Security features for incorrect codes

You can set the keypad to lock and trigger an alarm (via a connected alarm system) to prevent
intruders from gaining access after multiple guess attempts.
Follow the steps below:
• The code lock must be in programming mode (see section 12. a) for details).
• Enter programming code
• Select the desired function.

• Press the button to confirm your entry. The code lock will beep twice and the "MAINS"
LED will flash two times to indicate that the setting has been saved.
The "DOOR" LED will turn red when the keypad is locked.
Example 1: Lock the keypad after 5 incorrect attempts

After 10 incorrect PIN entries (user codes), the keypad will be locked for 30
seconds (default setting).
After 10 incorrect entries (user codes), the "DU OUT" output will be ac-
tivated. This output can be used to trigger an alarm system. Entering a
correct user code (or the superuser code) resets the output.
After 5 to 10 incorrect entries (user codes), the keypad will be locked for
15 minutes. Entering the superuser code unlocks the keypad.
The security feature/keypad lock is disabled.
