j) Door alarm
If you connect a door sensor (with NC contact, opener) to the corresponding input on the code
lock, you can use the lock to monitor whether the door is open or closed (see description of
terminal 13 in section 6).
If someone opens the door without entering a valid code (e.g. without using the door opener
button that is connected to terminal 7), the code lock will trigger an alarm. The alarm will sound
for 60 seconds and the "K OR A" output will be activated (see description of terminal 10 in
section 6).
For this function, the "K OR A" jumper must be in position "A" (see right-
hand diagram).
To stop the alarm before the 60 seconds has elapsed, enter a valid user
code for output #1.
This output can be used to trigger an alarm system in the event of a break-in attempt.
Follow the steps below:
• The code lock must be in programming mode (see section 12. a) for details).
• Enter programming code
• Select the desired function.
Turn off door alarm (default setting)
Turn on door alarm
• Press the button to confirm your entry. The code lock will beep twice and the "MAINS"
LED will flash two times to indicate that the setting has been saved.

The door alarm is only triggered when there is an attempt to open the door without
entering a valid code (e.g. without using the door opener button that is connected to
terminal 7).
