Screw terminal 13 ("DOOR SENS"): Connection for door sensor
When you connect a door sensor (with an NC con-
tact), the code lock can monitor whether the door
is open or closed.
If the input is not used, it must be con-
nected to the minus/-/GND contact
(screw terminal 14).
For this reason, terminals 13 and 14 are
connected with a small wire bridge when
the product is shipped.
If you wish to connect a sensor, remove the wire bridge between terminals 13 and 14.
The following functions are available when you connect a door sensor:
• Automatic relocking
You can set output #1 to be activated for 1 - 999 seconds. If output #1 is activated with a valid
code and the door is opened and closed, the activation period (and therefore output #1) will
be automatically reset to lock the door.
This prevents people from opening the door because the activation period has not elapsed.
• Break-in alarm
The code lock sets off an alarm if someone attempts to open the door without entering a valid
code (or without pressing the door opener button connected to terminal 7).
To stop the alarm before the 60 seconds has elapsed, enter a user code.
• Open door alarm
You can set output #1 to be activated for 1 - 999 seconds so that the door stays open for a
preset duration.
If the door is still open when the preset period has elapsed, the code lock will set off an alarm.
