Screw terminal 11 ("O/P 3 "): Output #3
This is an NPN transistor output (open collector) with a maximum capacity of 100 mA and
24 V/DC. The output switches to minus/-/GND when activated. This output can be used for
numerous purposes, e.g. to arm an alarm system.
Output #3 can be used in toggle mode (the output is activated each time a code is entered) or
for a specified period (1 - 999 seconds).
Screw terminal 12 ("K OR A O/P"): Output for push button or alarm
This is an NPN transistor output (open collector) with a maximum capacity of 100 mA and
24 V/DC. The output has two different functions that can be switched using the "K OR A" jumper:
• 1) Output is activated when a button is pressed
The output switches to minus/-/GND for 10 seconds when a button on the code lock is
pressed.
This function can be used to turn on a light or surveillance camera or control a piezo buzzer.
• 2) Output is activated when the door is forced open (door sensor required)
Output switches to minus/-/GND when the door is opened without entering a code. A suitable
door sensor must be mounted to the door and connected to screw terminal 13.
This function can be used to trigger an alarm when the door is forced open. The diagram
below shows a relay with an NO contact; the output could also be connected directly to the
corresponding NO input on a compatible alarm system.
