Screw terminal 15 ("DU OUT"): Output for silent alarm (duress alarm)
This is an NPN transistor output (open collector) with a maximum capacity of 100 mA and
24 V/DC. The output switches to minus/-/GND when the silent alarm (duress alarm) code is
entered. This allows you to trigger a (silent) alarm via an alarm system.
To connect a buzzer and an LED, use the output as shown in the left-hand diagram below.
Screw terminal 16 ("O/P 1 INHIB"): Lock output #1
To lock output #1, connect this terminal to GND/-. It cannot be activated with a user code or a
door opener button (on screw terminal 7).
This terminal is normally used when several code locks are used to control the same door. This

Screw terminal 17 ("INT LOCK"): Interlock control
This is an NPN transistor output (open collector). The output switches on minus/-/GND for
5 seconds when a valid user code is entered or the door opener button (connected to screw
terminal 7) is pressed.
The output stays connected to minus/-/GND when the door sensor (connected to screw terminal
13) registers that the door is open.
This output can be used to control special access systems (e.g. when a double door is used to
access to a room and only one side of the door can be opened).
Screw terminal 18 + 19 + 20 ("O/P 2"): Output #2
Output #2 is a potential-free relay contact (maximum load = 24 V/DC, 1 A). Connect the wires
to the corresponding terminal depending on whether you require an NC or NO contact (e.g. for
an alarm system).
Output #2 can be used in toggle mode (the output is activated each time a code is entered) or
for a specified period (1–999 seconds).
