9. Setup

• Once you have finished mounting the product (see section 7 for details), turn on the power
supply.
• The keypad backlight will turn on and the "MAINS" LED (B) on the top of the code lock will
flash slowly (1x every 2 seconds).
• The code lock is now ready to program (see section 12 for details).
The master code is required to program the code lock. By default, the master code is
set to "0000". Always change the master code before using the code lock.
Important!
If you forget the master code, follow the instructions in section 11.
Attention!
The code lock codes (including the master code, user codes, superuser code and
visitor codes) can be 4 to 8 digits long.
When the "Auto entry" feature is enabled (see section 12 m), all codes must be the
same length (e.g. if the master code is 5 digits, the user codes must also be 5 digits).

Data and settings are not affected by power cuts. However, visitor codes will be auto-
matically deleted for security reasons.
For safety reasons, the door opener button (connected between "EG IN" (screw termi-
nal 7) and GND) is independent of all settings and activates output #1 when pressed.
