Screw terminal 7 ("EG IN"): Control input for door opener button
Use this input to connect a button (with an NO contact) and activate output #1.
This is normally used to operate a door opener using a wall-mounted button instead of entering
a code on the code lock.
If you need to connect more than one button, connect them in parallel.
Screw terminals 8 + 9 ("DOOR LOCK"): Output #1 for door opener
A door opener can be connected directly to this output; the code lock delivers a voltage of
12 V/DC and a current of up to 3 A.
Ensure that the door opener is connected in the correct polarity (screw terminal 8 = Plus/+,
screw terminal 9 = minus/-/GND).
The protective diode must be connected near to the door opener in the correct polarity.
Output #1 can be used in toggle mode (the output is activated each time a code is entered) or
for a specified period (1 - 999 seconds).
This output is preconfigured for a "fail secure" door opener (standard door opener type for house
doors). This can be changed using program code 66 (see section 12. q) for details).
• "Fail-secure" door openers:
Fail-secure door openers release the latch when the power supply delivers a voltage (stand-
ard door opener type for house doors).
• "Fail-safe" door openers:
Fail-safe door openers release the latch when the power supply stops delivering a voltage
(non-standard door opener type, used for emergency exit doors so that the door opens in the
event of a power cut).
Screw terminal 10: No function / not available
This screw terminal has no function (or there is no screw terminal on the circuit board).
