15. Troubleshooting

Preprogrammed settings are not affected by a power cut.
However, the code lock will not work during a power cut and the outputs cannot be activated.
For security reasons, we recommend that you operate the code lock using an uninter-
ruptible power supply (as is the case for alarm systems).
The door opener doesn't work
• Output #1 is designed to be connected to a door opener. It delivers a voltage of 12 V/DC
and a current of up to 3 A. Ensure that the code lock provides a sufficient voltage for your
door opener.
• If the door opener has polarity markings (plus/+ and minus/-), ensure that it is connected to
the code lock in the correct polarity.
• Check that the user code activates the correct output. The code lock features three independ-
ent outputs.
• We recommend that you connect door openers to output #1, as this is the only output that
allows you to use all functions.
• The user code is incorrect.
The "MAINS" LED does not flash in normal mode.
• Check whether you have disabled the flashing LED indicator (see section 12. n).
The code lock does not beep when a user code is entered.
• Check whether you have disabled keypad tones (see section 12. k) and 12. l).
The user code does not work
• Changing the access mode (see section 12. m) when there are preprogrammed settings (e.g.
user codes) may cause functional errors.
Before changing the access mode, delete all preprogrammed settings (see section 12. b)
for details).
Once you have deleted the settings, configure them again as desired.
