d) Select servo signal format and direction of rotation:
If your helicopter has a mechanically mixed rotor head, you can select the servo
signal format and direction of rotation in the SERVO menu, and then continue with
Point 3.2.2.
If your helicopter has a 3-point 120º swashplate you should first activate the mixer for
the rotor head and set it up correctly, otherwise servos 1, 2 and 4 will not move in
response to the controls.
e) Activate the 120º linkage mixer
Move to the MIX menu and search for the menu point CYCLIC;
move to the second line.
Move the collective pitch stick to the MAX position, and then
rotate the digi-adjustor to increase collective pitch. When you
do this, all three linkage points on the swashplate must move
upwards together. If this is not the case, you must reverse the
direction of rotation of any servo or servos which move in the
wrong direction; this is done in the SERVO menu.
Now move the stick to the MIN position and increase the
collective pitch travel again. You will see a minus sign (-) after
the letters PI on the screen. This indicates that the value which
you set at this point applies to the negative collective pitch
range.
f) Check / Change the PITCH AXIS function (120º rotor head only)
When you move the PITCH-AXIS stick forward, the swashplate must tilt forward. If
this is not the case, correct it as follows:
§
Move the collective pitch stick to the MAX position
§
Adjust collective pitch travel using the digi-adjustor until
the screen shows the same percentage figure (e.g. 58%),
but with a minus prefix
This problem will only arise if the servos are arranged the other way round relative to
the swashplate, i.e. rotated through 180º compared to the illustration above. In this
case the pitch-axis servo is located in front of the rotor shaft.
g) Check / Change the ROLL function (120º rotor head only)
If you move the ROLL stick, say, to the left, then the swashplate must also tilt to the
left. If this is not the case, you must do the following:

Swap over the receiver connections for servos 1 and 2
§
Reverse the direction of rotation for servos 1 and 2 (SERVO menu)
IMPORTANT: Reducing ROLL and PITCH-AXIS travels
If you need to reduce the control travels for ROLL and PITCH-AXIS, you can do this in
the Dual Rate menu. If a Dual Rates switch is installed, but you want to disable it, set
the same values for both switch positions. (è 8.4.1 in the operating instructions,
