During auto-rotation the motor does not power the main rotor, and therefore
there is no motor torque which the tail rotor has to counteract. Static tail rotor
compensation (è 3.2.3) is therefore switched off automatically.

For auto-rotation the basic tail rotor setting is around 0°. This can be set in the
TAIL OFS menu point within the MIX menu.
This is the procedure for setting the tail rotor offset:
Procedure
Select the menu point TAIL OFS in the MIX menu,
1.
then move to the second line
Switch on AUTO-ROTATION (S3) and
2.
set the offset (e.g. 15%)
Continue as in summary sheet

Note:
To set the tail rotor offset, swivel both tail rotor blades up, as previously described.
Set the mixer value so that both blade tips are approximately in line.

3.2.6. Starting and adjusting the motor

Before you start the motor it is essential to carry out a safety check:
§
Is the model in perfect mechanical order?
§
Are the radio control system and batteries in good condition?
§
Do the controls operate in the correct „sense"?
§
Does the gyro provide corrective movement in the appropriate direction, and is
it securely fixed to the model?

Be sure to hold the main rotor securely with one hand while you are starting the
motor, and don't let go of it! For safety's sake : move the COLLECTIVE PITCH stick to
the collective pitch minimum position.
This is the procedure for starting the motor:
§
Switch on AUTO-ROTATION (switch S1)
You now have separate control of collective pitch and throttle. The slider
controls the throttle servo (i.e. you have direct throttle control). The collective
pitch stick has no influence on the throttle setting.
§
Set the throttle to the correct starting position using the slider,
and start the motor.
To adjust the motor, set the model down at a position on the flying site where you
pose no danger to yourself or others.

Move the collective pitch stick to the collective pitch minimum position, so that
the model cannot lift off accidentally!
Now slowly move the slider to advance the throttle setting towards full throttle
(direct throttle). The negative collective pitch value (stick at collective pitch
