NOTE : The sticks are calibrated when the transmitter passes through the final
assembly stage. It is therefore important not to swap over or turn round the stick unit
connectors.

If you move to the PUPIL menu and switch ON, all mixers are switched off, the trims
are disabled, and the signal format is set to MULTIPLEX. The Cockpit will work
correctly in conjunction with any of the teacher transmitters listed on page 41 when
set up in this way.

2. For fixed-wing models

2.1. - - NEW: Electronic Y-lead for channel 7

The C 's electronic Y-lead has one distinct advantage over a conventional
OCKPIT

Y-lead: the centre, travels and direction of rotation of the two servos concerned can
be adjusted independently of each other .
Move to the Y-LEAD menu point in the MIX menu, and select the channel whose con-
trol information is to be passed to channel 7. This may be any of the channels 1 to 6.
APPLICATION: 2 SPOILER servos
We will assume that your model has two spoilers, each of which is operated by its
own servo; the transmitter control is the spoiler stick.
Connect the first spoiler servo to receiver output 6, and the
second servo to output 7.
Move to the MIX menu and select the menu point Y-CABL(e).
Press the digi-adjustor to switch to the bottom line of the menu
point, and then rotate the digi-adjustor to search for channel 6
as the signal source. The left arrow in the bottom line (<-)
indicates that the signal from channel 6 will be duplicated and
passed to channel 7.
Now leave the menu point and move to the SERVO menu, where you can adjust the
settings for the two servos 6 and 7. Both servos are now controlled in parallel by the
SPOILER transmitter control.

2.2. - - NEW: Mixer set to 0% is indicated by OFF on screen

If you make changes in the MIX menu, the word OFF now
appears on the screen instead of 0%. This makes it easier to see
whether the selected mixer is active or switched off.
