Changing the timer battery
• Battery life depends on how often the timer is used.
However, when you notice a total or partial loss of the
display, you will need to change the battery.
• To help protect the environment, remove the used battery.
Do not dispose of it with household waste, but take it
to a specialised collection centre. The timer battery is a
lithium manganese button cell. It complies with European
regulations.
• You can replace the battery in the timer, reference CR2032,
or have it replaced by a retailer approved for this type of
service.
• To remove the battery from your timer,
battery cap with a coin by turning it anticlockwise so that
the 1/2 moon ◗ on the cap lines up with the 1/2 moon on
the timer ◗ (see drawing opposite).
• Replace your battery.
• Reposition the seal in its housing.
• To reposition the battery cap, position the 1/2 moon ◗
of the battery cap opposite the 1/2 moon ◗ of the timer.
Gently turn the battery cap clockwise, whilst applying light
pressure to align the 1/2 moon ◗ of the battery cap with
the full moon of the timer ● (see the opposite diagram).
• Close the battery cap gently; do not force it beyond the
stops.
