Maximum filling
Food placed in the steaming basket must not touch the lid of Clipso
exceed the 2/3 fill level (MAX 2).
• Never fill the Clipso +Chef beyond 2/3 of the height of the pan (MAX 2 mark).

For certain foodstu s:
• Never fill beyond 1/3 of the height of the pan (MAX 1 mark) for pasty foods which
expand and/or foam during cooking, such as rice, pulses, dehydrated vegetables,
compotes, pumpkin, courgettes, carrots, potatoes, fish fillets, etc. -
During cooking
• When steam continuously escapes from the release vent with a regular sound
(pschhht), the cooking time countdown starts automatically with an acoustic
signal. Reduce the power of the heat source.
• Make sure that the valve 'whispers' regularly during the cooking process. If there
is not enough steam, increase the heat source slightly, otherwise reduce it.
Steam is very hot when it is released from the operating valve.
• You can change the cooking time at any point by pressing the + or - keys.
• You can stop the timer at any time by pressing the 2 buttons simultaneously.
Cooking has finished
• At the end of the cooking stage, the timer beeps a second time to indicate that
cooking is complete.
• Turn o the heat source.
There are 2 ways to release the steam:
• Gradual decompression: position the programme selector (F) opposite the
pictogram Fig. 8.
• Quick decompression: place your Clipso
and stop just before the handles).
• Check that the pressure indicator (D) is down.
• Position the programme selector (F) opposite the pictogram
• Raise the opening/closing handle to the vertical position to open the lid.
Do not try to force the lid open; make sure the pressure indicator is in the down
position.
• Remove the timer, clean the Clipso

Using the steaming basket
• Pour 750 ml of water into the bottom of
the pan.
• Place the steaming basket in the bottom
of the pan. Fig.
• The water should just be level with the
bottom of the basket

Installing and removing the control module
• The control module has been designed to make cleaning
your Clipso +Chef as easy as possible.
®
To remove the module from the lid:
• Turn the lid over.
• Unscrew the nut securing the module using a coin, while
holding the module with the other hand.
• Turn the lid over and remove the module.
To attach the control module to the lid:
• Place the crown on the lid.
• Position the module, with the arch folded down, on the lid.
• Turn the assembly over while holding the module to the
lid and tighten the fixing nut using a coin.
The control module can only be operated in one direction.
• Never use Clipso
Installing and removing the timer
• To fit the timer (C)
part and then clip on the rear part.
• To remove the timer (C), press the flap and lift.
