7.3.1

AUTO

The pump and the fans are always switched on in accordance with requirements
when welding is taking place or if the coolant temperature is higher than 30°C. If
no cooling to less than 30°C takes place for a long period (e.g. ambient
temperature higher than 30°C), the pump and the fans are switched off.
7.3.2 On
The pump and the fans are always switched on.
7.3.3

Off

The pump and the fans are always switched off. This is advisable during
electrode welding or torch replacement, for example.
7.4 Fault messages for water cooling unit with
energy management
The following fault messages (see fig. 10) are displayed
7.4.1 H2O > 50°C / H2O > 65°C
If the temperature of the coolant in the tank is higher than 50°C, the acoustic
alarm is sounded for 5 seconds and the associated LED flashes. Please observe
the manual instructions of your water-cooled TIG torch and the specified
maximum permissible flow temperature of the coolant. If this is not higher than
50°C, interrupt the welding task and allow the water cooling unit to run until the
coolant has cooled down sufficiently.
If the temperature of the coolant in the tank is higher than 65°C, the acoustic
alarm is sounded continuously and the associated LED remains on. Interrupt the
welding task and allow the water cooling unit to run until the coolant has cooled
down sufficiently.
