Water cooling
7.1
Start-up
The water level in the tank must be checked before using the water cooling unit.
If the cooling liquid level is lower than ¾ of the tank capacity, cooling water must
be topped up. In order to obtain the best possible torch cooling, the reservoir
must be filled to the top. Add cooling liquid if necessary. Only use original
Rehm coolant (order number 168 0075)
The flow and return hoses are inserted into the locking couplings (blue = flow,
red = return).

Water cooling unit operating mode
The cooling capacity is 1400W for 240 DC to 280 AC/DC and 2000W for 350 DC
to 450 AC/DC.
The pump and the fans are always switched on during welding, in accordance
with requirements. When welding is complete, the pump and the fans continue
running for 7 minutes.

Operating mode of water cooling unit with
energy management option
A centrifugal pump is optionally used with the INVERTIG.PRO COMPACT 240
DC to 450 AC/DC. The welding machine also monitors the flow rate and
temperature of the coolant.
