Connecting external components

External components are connected via the standard 7-pin remote control socket
on the front of the INVERTIG.PRO COMPACT. These include the Rehm
accessories that are described in chapter 4 (remote foot controller P1,
automation interface). The electrical connection is made via a serial CAN
connection.
Important!
When using this 7-pin remote control socket, please ensure that you comply with
the directives pertaining to the use of serial bus systems. Particularly the
electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) specifications. Always use the accessories
provided by REHM.
Please note that the length of the INVERTIG.PRO COMPACT iSystem cable
between the first and last subscribers must not exceed 20m because of the
design of the serial connection.
In order to ensure that the external connection is always reliably initialised, first
switch on the power switch of the INVERTIG.PRO COMPACT and then the
switches of the external devices.
