8.5.1.1 Functional Check of the Reserve/Empty Notification System for the Suction Lance
You have to slowly pull the suction lance out of the canister to
check the function of the level display. When the upper
electrode (= reserve signal electrode) emerges from the
disinfectant, the display should show "Reserve Container"
alternating with the normal operating display.
When all electrodes have emerged from the disinfectant, the
device should go into fault mode. This means that the
solenoid valve should close, the metering pump should switch
off, the display screen should display "Container Empty", and
the red LED on the control panel should light up.

8.5.1.2 Functional Check of the Flow Monitor
Check the function of the flow monitor as follows:
 Remove the product canister.
 Bridge the three contacts at terminal X4 of
board 216860 (= bridging the empty and
reserve signals).

 Start tapping
