Electrical connection

7.2.2.1 Electrical connection, 1-door version

The power line is retracted into the housing as follows:
 Pull suction lance out of housing until the cable duct for the power line is accessible.
Loosen the hose clip and unscrew the swivel nut
(see chapter 5.1, Fig. 5.1, Item 25) from the suction lance.
 Detach the cable duct from the fastener and open it.
 Retract the power line into the housing.
 Close the cable duct and push back into the fastener.
 Return the suction lance duct to its original position, screw on the swivel nut
(but make sure that the suction lance can still turn), and tighten the hose clip.
 Roll up the power cable in the housing and use cable ties to secure it into place.
 Make sure that the power cable does not come into contact with any sharp parts
in the device or with the product.

Moving the Suction Lance and Power Line to the Left-Hand Side of the Housing

 Remove the suction line from the metering pump (see chapter 5.1, Fig. 5.1, Item 14).
 Disconnect the suction lance connection cable in the electronics control box.
 Detach the hose clip, unscrew the swivel nut (see chapter 5.1, Fig. 5.1, Item 25)
from the suction lance, and pull the suction lance out of the housing along with the
suction line and connection cable.
 Pull the power cable duct out of the fastener and retract it into the housing along with
the power line.
 Remove the cover plate on the left-hand side of the housing.
 Close the duct on the right-hand side of the housing using the cover plate.
 Pull the power line through the left-hand side of the housing and secure the cable duct.
 Make sure that the power cable does not come into contact with any sharp parts
in the device or with the product.
 Attach the suction lance to the left-hand side of the housing.
 Connect the suction lance to the metering pump.
 Connect the suction lance connection cable in the electronics control box.

7.2.2.2 Electrical connection: 2-door version

The power line is retracted into the housing as follows:
 Detach the cable duct from the fastener and open it.
 Retract the power line into the housing.
 Close the cable duct and push back into the fastener.
 Roll up the power cable in the housing and use cable ties to secure it into place.
 Make sure that the power cable does not come into contact with any sharp parts in the
device or with the product.
