8.5 Commissioning
When using the device for the first time, proceed as follows:
 Plug in the mains plug.
 Open the angle valve for the water infeed.
 Connect the product canister to the suction lance.
To make it easier to change the canister, you can turn the suction lance and move it up or
down by approximately 10 mm on the housing duct.
NOTE
Once you have placed the canister on the console, press the suction lance down to its stop
point to enable optimum emptying.
 Bleed the metering pump
(see chapter
 If necessary, change the basic settings in accordance with chapter
 Check the concentration and correct the DLA steps in accordance with chapter
"Calibration", if necessary.
 Check the safety features in accordance with chapter
Features".
 Reset the operating data and error memory to ZERO in accordance with chapter
"Delete Functions" = display [101].
 Check all lines and components that carry water and disinfectant to make sure that they
are leak tight.
The metering unit is ready for use
once the following message appears
on the display screen:

If neither of these display texts appears, you must make sure that you had exited
NOTE
programming mode after finishing programming.

You have to check the functions of the level suction lance, flow monitor, and water pulse
counter as part of the safety features check.
