Description of the safety features

6.2.1

Water flow pressure monitoring

6.2.2

Solenoid valve monitoring

(Alarm number 0206)

6.2.3

Flow rate restriction

There is a flow regulator positioned upstream of the solenoid valve (see Fig. 3.3, Item 3)
to limit the maximum quantity of water flow rate.

Product flow monitoring

Main power failure safety system:

The unit control system has a "non-volatile RAM" (NVRAM), as well as a backup battery for
the date/time. This means that the device settings, the saved data and the date/time are not
lost if there is a power cut.

The water pulse monitor permanently monitors the water flow
pressure (water flow rate) during the tapping process.
The electronics evaluate the pressure. If the pulse rate drops below
a critical value (< 150 l/h), i.e. if the water flow pressure drops below
the minimum permitted level of around 0.08 MPa (0.8 bar), the
tapping process is interrupted immediately.
While the unit is idle, the water pulse meter monitors the solenoid
valve to make sure that it closes smoothly. If water runs through the
solenoid valve even though the valve hasn't been actuated, the
display screen shows "Alarm number 0206".
The flow monitor (see chapter 5.1, Fig. 5.1, Item 15) that is
positioned upstream of the admission point constantly monitors the
disinfectant flow. If the product flow is interrupted as a result of a
fault on the metering pump, suction line, motor, or level suction
lance, or if an incorrect product is used, the device registers an error.
"Alarm number 0207" appears on the display.
"Alarm number 0151" appears on the display screen if the suction
lance and level electrodes detect a drop below a certain residual
amount in the container.
If the level drops below the empty signal level, the metering process
is interrupted, and "Alarm number 0201" appears in the display.
