8.11.1 Function description
• With a valid spot selection, a welding process can be started with "Program
start".
• The gun then closes (output "Gun opened" becomes FALSE) with the
positioning speed stored in the Weldjob up to the search range+sheet thickness
and within the search range with the programmed touchdown velocity.
• When the force programmed in the Weldjob has been reached, the output
"Force reached" is set and the welding time starts.
• After the welding time, the output "Weld complete" is set together with the
welding result. ("Welding ok" or "Welding not ok" together with the output "
Reweld enabled" if applicable).
• The gun opens, "Force reached" becomes FALSE and the signal "Gun opened"
becomes TRUE.
• Resetting the "Program start" resets the "Weld complete" output. The outputs
"Welding ok" and "Welding not ok" are only reset with a new start or error reset.
• In the case of faulty welds with output "Reweld enble", a new welding process
can be started as a repetition weld if the input bit "Reweld on" is set together
with a new "Program start".
• The reweld welding parameters depend on the error configuration.
8.11.2 Signals involved

8.12 Scale gun
8.12.1 Function description:
• By setting the "Force scaling" input, the gun makes several closing movements
with point xx06 on the reference force sensor.
• After the scaling process, the output "Scaling ready message" is set.
• Finally, the controller determines the scaling coefficients from the results and
sets the scaling result to the outputs "Scaling ok" or "Scaling not ok" at the
same time as " Scaling ready message".
• The PRI7000 also displays the scaling result, the deviations of the force test are
displayed in the detailed diagnosis of the message.
